There are more than 5 rings in Siofok and the neighboring villages, but the best and more professional one is the Forgo ring, the track length is 550 meters, have 10 turns(6 left, 4 right), best record in the summer of 2020 was averaging 6.8 seconds per round. Can you beat that :). during July and June it gets really busy and waiting time is 2 hours, its recommended to buy the tickets ahead of time.
3. Balaton Sound (5 Km from Joy guesthouse)

I’ve been going to Balaton Sound for 7 years in a row…. It's without exaggeration the biggest event ever that is held on the lake Balaton. The event attracts big international names in the entertainment business such as Jason Derulo, Wizz Khalifa, Afro Jack, DJ Tiesto, Paul ven Dyk, Martin Garrix, Faithless, David Guetta and so many others.
Last summer 2020, the festival was cancelled :( due to Coronavirus pandemic and was suppose to host the CHAINSMOKERS, David Guetta, DJ SNAKE, Jonas BLUE, and so many others…. We hope this coming summer of 2021 The event will be placed on time and we can all enjoy it once again.

The event is held in a town called Zamardi that is on the lake Balaton, its a nice seasonal place that gets busy over the summer vacation and its full of restaurants. also you can find a free public beach where you can spend your day relaxing on the shores of the lake balaton, the beach is a walking distance from balaton sound main area, a word of advise the beach gets busy over weekends and event such as Balaton sound, so you've better reserve a place near the lake early. Zamardi is bordering a bigger twin city called Siofok, and this is where all the action in Lake balaton takes place. distances in Hungary in general and in Balaton in specific are really small, so to give you an example , you can travel from zamardi Balaton sound main area to downtown Siofok in less than 5 minutes.
I personally advise you to stay in a Pension or a hotel in Siofok and commute to Zamardi so that you can catch the actions on both sides. Siofok is a city that is built on night life and you can find restaurants, nightclubs, movie theaters, shopping center, entertainments of all sorts almost 24/7 in the months of June to August. Just keep in mind that the summer season in Balton in general starts on June 15 and ends on August 24, 2018.
Pros of Balaton Sound: Hundreds of thousands of young people with the loud pop and techno music will bring the shores of the lake Balaton to life, and will give you and experience like never before.
Cones of Balaton Sound: Many young people will take the event as an excuse to use drugs and will be high most of the time, in case you don't mind bumping into high people occasionally, I would recommend the event and give it a 8 out of 10. There is no match for the view that can be seen from the Eye of Siofok. it's one of the highest points to have a panoramic view over Balaton and Siofok. The ride lasts 10 minutes with some pauses on the top to allow visitors to capture some memorable pictures while on the top.

Its a town on the southern shore of Balaton almost 10 Km away from Siofok. its famous for its cathedral and beautiful sightseeing. it overlooks the entire lake of Balaton and has many wine tasting taverns and restaurants. its ideal to spend the day in nature and enjoy the beautiful lavender aroma that you can find everywhere.
